Education and Training
Education on occupational health and safety is provided to all workers and everyone who is part of the occupational health and safety system – managers, supervisors, laboratory teaching and research managers, workers’ health and safety representatives, emergency team staff. They are taught the correct procedures in order to perform their respective duties in safety and to identify, mitigate and manage risks.
As well as lessons on theoretical aspects, practical training is also provided on the correct use of certain equipment, installations, substances, personal protective equipment, the application of work procedures and the necessary safety measures.
The Health and Safety Services Unit proposes a range of education and training programmes for workers at PoliTO, which differ according to the type and level of risk associated with the specific activity.
Attendance is mandatory. Courses are announced by e-mail.
