Support for Events and the Combined Interference Risk Assessment Report (in Italian DUVRI)
PoliTO is used as the venue for a variety of events. While many of these events are closely linked to teaching and research activities, others are organised by third parties for external activities.
The task of the Health and Safety Services Unit (PREP) is to provide the appropriate support so that the event is properly organised and so as to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone attending the event.
When external suppliers of products or services enter PoliTO to handle goods or carry out work, the Contracting Party must inform them of any safety issues specific to the areas concerned and the correct procedures to be implemented to prevent any risk of interference between the external supplier’s activities and the institutional activities carried on inside university buildings.
The document that must provide this information is called the Combined Interference Risk Assessment Report (in Italian DUVRI– Documento Unico di Valutazione dei Rischi da Interferenze).
The task of the Health and Safety Services Unit is to assist the Contracting Party in defining any potential risks of interference of activities and the appropriate countermeasures. The Health and Safety Services Unit supports all offices at PoliTO responsible for purchasing goods and services.
