Company Occupational Physician and Nursing Services
The Company Occupational Physician works with the employer to assess risks. He/she is appointed by the latter to perform health surveillance and is entrusted with the following tasks:
- Assisting with the development and implementation of measures to safeguard workers’ health and their physical and mental welfare;
- Performing preventive and routine health checks;
- Evaluating workers’ fitness for the specific job;
- Creating and maintaining a health and risk file for each worker undergoing health surveillance;
- Inspecting work environments;
- Assisting with training and information activities.
The activities of the Nursing Services unit include:
- first aid;
- assisting the Company Occupational Physician with workers’ preventive and routine health checks. Examinations and tests are scheduled and/or by appointment.
